Artefact Intelligence:

  • Subject: Assassination of First Prime of Solaris-4
  • Date/Time: 02/03/226 NE (New Era), 21:04
  • Location: First Prime Secure Residence, Solarira – Capital of Solaris-4
  • Event: Annual Fundraising Charity Ball.
  • Impact: With the loss of their leader, the initiative to apply independent oversight of all battles staged on Zentropy collapsed.
  • Detailed Account: The Solaris-4 system was in a state of turmoil. The First Prime, the leader of the ruling council, had been pushing for increased autonomy for the system's planets and the independent oversight of all battles staged on the planet Zentropy. This had made him a target for those who opposed his ideas, as well as for outside forces who saw the Solaris-4 system as a key strategic location in the ongoing intergalactic conflict.
As the First Prime walked through the bustling streets of the capital city, surrounded by his security detail, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. He had been receiving threats and warnings for weeks, and he knew that his life was in danger.
Suddenly, a figure in black clothing and a hood stepped out of an alleyway and aimed a blaster at the First Prime. The security detail quickly sprang into action, but they were no match for the assassin's advanced weapons and training. The First Prime was struck down in a hail of blaster fire, and the assassin disappeared into the crowds before anyone could catch him.
The news of the First Prime's death sent shockwaves throughout the Solaris-4 system. Without their leader, the initiative to apply independent oversight of all battles staged on Zentropy collapsed, and the various planets began to fall back into old patterns of power struggles and infighting.
As the other members of the ruling council scrambled to fill the power vacuum left by the First Prime's death, outside forces began to make their move. Without the strong leadership of the First Prime, Solaris-4 was left vulnerable to invasion and conquest.
The assassination had far-reaching consequences, not just for the people of Solaris-4, but for the entire galaxy. It marked a turning point in the war and had a major impact on the balance of power in the galaxy, as the Solaris-4 system was a major player in the on-going intergalactic conflict.
The identity of the assassin was never discovered, and the reason for the assassination remained a mystery, however, for many on the Solaris-4 system, the first prime will forever be remembered as a leader that was willing to sacrifice his life for the greater good of the people and his vision of an independent oversighted Zentropy.
  • Subject: Assassination of the leader of the Wutanga Militia on Edos-3
  • Date/Time: 22/11/318 NE, 03:24
  • Location: Wutanga Militia Headquarters, Southernmost Continent on Edos-3.
  • Event: Pre-dawn raid on the leaders’ private enclave.
  • Impact: The Wutangan militia were preparing to mobilise against opposition forces because of escalating tension in the region – without a leader, the attempt failed, and the militia were over run and subsequently crushed.
  • Detailed Account: The Wutangan militia had been preparing for months for the inevitable conflict with the opposition forces. Tensions had been escalating in the region for quite some time, and it was clear that a fight was coming. But when the time came for the militia to mobilize, they were dealt a severe blow: their leader, a charismatic and powerful figure, had gone missing.
Without a leader to guide them, the militia was in disarray. They were a ragtag group of men and women from all walks of life, united only by their desire to defend their homes and families. But without a strong leader to direct them, they were lost.
The opposition forces, sensing weakness, launched a surprise attack on the militia's stronghold. The unprepared militia was caught off guard and quickly overwhelmed. They fought bravely, but their efforts were in vain. The opposition forces were better trained, better equipped, and had better morale.
In the end, the militia was crushed. Their stronghold was captured, and many of their fighters were killed or captured. Those who managed to escape fled into the wilderness, vowing to one day return and reclaim what had been taken from them.
The loss of their leader had been the turning point. Without him, the militia had been unable to mount an effective defense. And now, their cause was lost.
But hope was not entirely gone. Some of the escapees managed to regroup, and a new leader emerged from the ashes of defeat. He vowed that the Wutangan militia will rise again, and next time they will come back stronger, better organized and more determined. With this new leader, the Wutangan militia was ready to take on the opposition forces once again, and to fight for freedom and justice.
  • Subject: Assassination of a group of high-level diplomats returning from inspection of weapons facility on Capita Prime
  • Date & Time: 15/06/182 NE (21:38 local time)
  • Location: Capita Prime Strategic Weapons Platform
  • Event: Final inspection prior to making the facility operational
  • Impact: Several inspectors had raised unofficial concerns over a few of the facilities operating practices and supply chains.  Their removal allowed the facility to be commissioned as planned, coincidently providing much fortified defences for several large Titan Corp manufacturing facilities located planet side
  • Detailed Account: The sun was setting over the sprawling metropolis of Capita Prime as the diplomatic shuttle landed at the spaceport. The delegation of high-level diplomats, who had been inspecting a weapons facility on the planet, stepped off the shuttle and onto the tarmac, where they were greeted by a group of officials from Titan Corp, the powerful conglomerate that owned the facility.
The delegation had raised several unofficial concerns over the facility's operating practices and supply chains, but the Titan Corp officials had assured them that everything was in compliance with regulations. The diplomats had seemed satisfied with the explanations and were now returning home, having completed their inspection.
But as the delegation was walking towards the terminal, a group of heavily armed men suddenly emerged from the shadows and opened fire. The diplomats never stood a chance; they were caught completely off guard and were killed in the hail of bullets.
The assassins, who were later revealed to be mercenaries hired by Titan Corp, quickly disappeared into the crowd, and the authorities were unable to track them down. With the delegation eliminated, the facility was commissioned as planned, and its advanced weapons systems provided a much-needed boost to the defences of several large Titan Corp manufacturing facilities located planet-side.
The public was outraged by the assassination, but Titan Corp's powerful influence and vast resources allowed them to evade any repercussions for their actions. The truth behind the incident was eventually buried, and the facility continued to operate without any further interference. However, for the families and friends of the diplomats, the pain of their loss would never truly fade away.
  • Subject: Assassination of Heads of State at Tri-Centennial celebration of the end of the War on Eta Cassiopeia
  • Date & Time: 01/01/300 (00:00 local time)
  • Location: Memorial Cenotaph, Eta Cassiopeia
  • Event: Centennial Celebrations to commemorate the end of the Great War
  • Impact: Removal of a specific subset of leaders within the group of heads of state subsequently allowed several key proposals being made by TitanCorp to proceed without sufficient opposition to derail them, thereby increasing the hold it had over a number of outlying star systems
  • Detailed Account: The Titan Corporation was a powerful conglomerate that controlled a vast empire spanning several star systems. Their reach was far and wide, and their influence was felt in every corner of the galaxy. But despite their vast power, there were still those who opposed them.
Heads of state from several outlying star systems had banded together to form a coalition to oppose Titan's expansionist agenda. They had successfully blocked a number of key proposals put forward by the corporation, and had begun to chip away at its hold on the galaxy.
Titan's leadership was determined to put an end to this opposition. They knew that if they were to continue their expansion, they would need to remove the leaders of this coalition. And so, they began to make their move.
First, they used their immense wealth and resources to gather intelligence on the leaders of the coalition. They studied their habits, their weaknesses, and their vulnerabilities. They bribed officials, blackmailed politicians, and even assassinated key figures.
One by one, the leaders of the coalition fell. Some were removed through legal means, while others were simply eliminated. With each removal, the opposition grew weaker and weaker. And with each removal, Titan's grip on the galaxy grew stronger.
Finally, with the coalition in tatters, Titan was able to push through several key proposals without sufficient opposition to derail them. Their control over the outlying star systems was solidified, and their expansionist agenda was back on track.
The corporation's methods were ruthless, but effective. They had removed the leaders of the opposition, and in doing so had ensured their continued dominance over the galaxy. And as Titan's power continued to grow, the fate of the outlying star systems remained uncertain, leaving its inhabitants wondering what their fate under the corporation’s rule will be.
  • Subject: Assassination of the Royal Family on Jotun
  • Date & Time: 15/06/224 (15:30 local time)
  • Location: Jotun Royal Family Summer Home
  • Event: Royal Family Summer Recess
  • Impact: The assassination of the Jotun Royal Family at their Summer Home at this key time prevented a royal decree from being passed which allowed the countries militia forces to continue obtaining black market weapons unopposed, leading to the eventual overthrowing of the country’s leadership, who actively opposed a number of key initiatives by Titan Corporation in the region
  • Detailed Account: The Jotun Kingdom was a small but proud nation, known for its fierce independence and strong sense of tradition. For centuries, the Jotun royal family had ruled over the kingdom with wisdom and fairness. But their time was about to come to an end.
For years, the Titan Corporation had had its eye on the resources of the Jotun Kingdom. They had made several attempts to gain a foothold in the region, but had been consistently blocked by the Jotun leadership, who opposed their exploitation of the land and its people.
In an effort to weaken the Jotun's resistance, Titan had begun to secretly arm and fund the kingdom's militia forces. These black-market weapons were meant to be used to overthrow the Jotun leadership and pave the way for Titan's expansion into the region.
The plan was coming to a head. The Jotun royal family was scheduled to pass a decree that would have put an end to the militia's black-market arms dealing. But before they could do so, they were brutally assassinated at their summer home. The murders were carried out with precision, and the killers were never caught.
With the Jotun royal family dead and the country in shock, the proposed decree was never passed. The militia, now unchecked, continued to obtain black-market weapons and began to grow in power and influence.
It wasn't long before the militia turned their sights on the government, which they saw as weak and ineffective. They staged a coup, overthrowing the Jotun leadership and installing their own leaders in power. These leaders were more sympathetic to Titan's agenda, and they quickly opened the door to the corporation's expansion into the region.
The people of the Jotun Kingdom were horrified by the events that had occurred. Their beloved royal family had been murdered, and their country was now being controlled by a ruthless corporation. They realized that the assassination of the Jotun royal family had been the key to unlocking the door to Titan's takeover of their land, resources, and people, leading to the collapse of the long-standing Jotun Kingdom.

Artefact Intelligence:

  • Subject: Bribing of high-level officials on Minmar-5 to secure weapons contract
  • Date & Time: 162NE (12:20 local time)
  • Location: Central Command, Northern Continent, Minmar-5
  • Event:
  • Impact: Securing this lucrative weapons contract provided considerable funding to R&D of advanced weapons technologies, to which Titan Corporation retained the Intellectual Property rights, even though the manufacture of the weapons themselves was sometimes to questionable quality and safety standards
  • Detailed Account: The Titan Corporation was always on the lookout for new opportunities to expand its reach and increase its profits. And when the opportunity to secure a lucrative weapons contract came along, they jumped at the chance.
The contract was for the manufacture of advanced weapons technologies for a major government military. It promised to provide the corporation with a steady stream of funding for research and development, as well as a foothold in the weapons market.
Titan threw itself into the project, pouring all its resources into R&D. They hired the best engineers and scientists and spared no expense in developing new and innovative weapons technologies. They were determined to win the contract, no matter the cost.
The weapons that they developed were unlike anything the world had ever seen before. They were faster, more powerful, and more deadly than anything that had come before. And best of all, they were entirely owned by the Titan Corporation, which retained the Intellectual property rights to the technologies.
However, as the corporation was focused on R&D, the manufacture of the weapons themselves was often done in questionable quality and safety standards. Nevertheless, the corporation did not hesitate to supply those weapons to the military, as it was able to generate significant profit.
The military, despite the questionable quality and safety, purchased the weapons in large quantities, eager to get their hands on the latest and greatest technologies. And the Titan Corporation, flush with cash and newly-acquired patents, continued to expand its reach and influence.
The success of the contract allowed the Titan Corporation to invest more into R&D and it created more advanced weapons, while still retaining the IP rights. This allowed the corporation to maintain its dominance in the weapons market and to shape the global military landscape according to its own agenda, regardless of the cost.
  • Subject: Bribing of research team on Koopla-2 to sign off on bioweapons with undesirable side-effects
  • Date & Time: 208NE (15:50 local time)
  • Location: Classified research dark site on Koopla-2
  • Event: bringing an end to the 20-year civil war that had been raging on Koopla-4
  • Impact: Because the research team failed to disclose the side effects of the bioweapons, their use was permitted to end a long running conflict on Koopla-4.  Although the conflict was brought to a swift conclusion through the use of these weapons, it is estimated that in the first 80 years after their use, in excess of 100m people have suffered premature deaths and failed pregnancies as a direct result of the side effects of the weapons used.
  • Detailed Account:
  • Subject: Bribing of multiple committee members to award significant outer-rim weapons contracts to Titan Corp.
  • Date & Time: 293NE – 298NE
  • Location: Multiple
  • Event: The award of multiple weapons contracts to several outer-rim worlds provided highly lucrative cash flow to TitanCorp
  • Impact: A level of weapons tech that was totally disproportionate to the worlds on which they were deployed lead to much higher casualties as a result of the excessive destructive force being deployed by inexperienced militia – estimated 20M unnecessary fatalities resulted from these conflicts
  • Detailed Account: Once upon a time, there was a powerful weapons company called Titan Corp. They had their eyes set on winning a series of outer-rim weapons contracts that would secure their dominance in the industry for years to come.
To achieve this goal, the executives of Titan Corp decided to bribe multiple members of the committee responsible for awarding the contracts. They offered large sums of money, expensive gifts, and even vacations to exotic locations in exchange for the committee members' vote in their favor.
As a result, Titan Corp was awarded the contracts, and they began to supply the outer-rim worlds with their latest and most advanced weapons technology. However, the worlds that received these weapons were primarily inhabited by small, poorly-trained militia groups who had little experience using such powerful technology.
With their new weapons, the militias engaged in fierce conflicts with one another, resulting in a staggering number of casualties. The weapons deployed by the militia groups were so destructive that entire cities were leveled and countless innocent civilians were killed.
In the end, it was estimated that over 20 million people lost their lives as a result of these conflicts, many of which were entirely unnecessary due to the bribing of the committee and the provision of excessive destructive force. The actions of Titan Corp and the corrupt committee members had severe and far-reaching consequences that could have been avoided if integrity and fairness had been upheld.
The story serves as a cautionary tale of the dangers of corruption and the importance of maintaining ethics in the business world and government institutions.
  • Subject: Bribing Executives of multiple interstellar corporations to ensure procurement contracts were awarded to Titan Corporation
  • Date & Time:
  • Location:
  • Event:
  • Impact:
  • Detailed Account: It was a dark and stormy night when the executives of multiple interstellar corporations gathered in a dimly lit room. They were all there to discuss the procurement contracts that would be awarded to the various companies that had submitted bids.
The room was filled with tension as the executives sat around a large table, each trying to outdo the others in terms of the benefits they could offer to the corporations. The Titan Corporation had been preparing for this meeting for weeks, and they were determined to come out on top.
The CEO of Titan Corporation, Alexandra Yang, was a shrewd and cunning woman who had built her company from the ground up. She knew that the only way to secure the contracts was to bribe the other executives.
Alexandra began by offering each executive a generous sum of money, promising them even more if they could guarantee that the contracts would be awarded to Titan Corporation. The executives were all very tempted by the offer, but they all knew that there was a risk involved. They had heard rumours about Alexandra's ruthless tactics and her tendency to do whatever it takes to win.
But as the night went on, and the storm raged outside, the executives slowly began to realise that they had no other choice. They had been struggling to keep their own companies afloat, and the money that Alexandra was offering was too good to pass up.
One by one, they began to agree to her terms, and before long, all of the contracts had been awarded to Titan Corporation. The executives left the room, each with a smile on their face, but also with a sense of unease. They knew that they had made a deal with the devil, and that there would be consequences to come.
But for Alexandra, the CEO of Titan Corporation, it was a victory. She had successfully bribed the other executives and secured the contracts for her company. It was a ruthless move, but it was one that would make her rich beyond her wildest dreams.
The storm outside began to die down as Alexandra sat alone in the room, counting her winnings. She knew that she would have to be careful in the future, but for now, she was content with her victory. And with that, she closed her eyes and smiled, knowing that she had once again outsmarted her rivals and come out on top.
  • Subject: Alexandra Yang Bribing the Director of the Central Interstellar Bank to provide highly favourable finance terms for several Titan Corporations expansion plans
  • Date & Time:
  • Location:
  • Event:
  • Impact:
  • Detailed Account: Alexandra Yang, the CEO of Titan Corporation, eventually met with the Director of the Central Interstellar Bank. She had a very important proposal for him
Alexandra was determined to take Titan Corporation to new heights, and she knew that the expansion plans were the key to achieving this goal. She had spent weeks working on the proposal, carefully outlining the new factories, research and development centers, and offices that she intended to build. She explained how the expansion would create jobs and boost the economy of several planets.
The Director listened carefully as Alexandra presented her plans. He was impressed by the proposal, but he knew that it would be a significant investment, and that the interest rates and terms of the loan would have to be highly favourable to Titan Corporation. Alexandra knew this as well, and she was prepared to do whatever it takes to get the funding she needed.
As the meeting came to a close, Alexandra reached into her briefcase and pulled out a thick envelope. "I have something here that I think will be of interest to you," she said, sliding the envelope across the table.
The Director opened the envelope and looked inside. It was filled with large denominations of currency from various planets. He looked up at Alexandra with a raised eyebrow, "What is this?"
It's a bribe, Alexandra said matter-of-factly. "I want you to provide highly favourable finance terms for my expansion plans. And I'm willing to pay for it."
The Director was taken aback. He had never been bribed before, and he didn't know how to react. He knew that accepting a bribe was illegal and could lead to serious consequences. But he also knew that Titan Corporation was a powerful company and that the expansion would benefit the economy.
He thought for a moment and then made a decision. He would accept the bribe and provide the favourable terms that Alexandra had requested. It was a risky move, but he knew that it would be worth it in the end.
Alexandra smiled as the Director agreed to her terms. She knew that she had played her cards right and that the expansion would go through without a hitch. She thanked the Director and left the bank, feeling a sense of satisfaction and power.
The Director watched her leave, feeling a mix of emotions. He had done something illegal, and he knew that he would have to be careful in the future. But he also knew that he had made the right decision, and that the expansion would benefit everyone in the long run. And with that thought, he closed the envelope and placed it in his desk drawer, locking it away for safekeeping.
As Alexandra walked out of the bank, she had the feeling that this was just the beginning, and that there was no limit to what Titan Corporation could achieve with her at the helm. She had a vision for the future, and she would stop at nothing to make it a reality.
